Application:
Mild Steel Electrodes, S Pro, are an extra high quality rutile coated general purpose mild steel electrode. S-Pro Mild Steel Electrodes can be used for maintenence welding and are suitable for wet, dirty and contaminated surfaces, including grained and structural steels, thin gauge plates, tubing, pipes and other sections.
E6013 Mild Steel Electrodes produce weld deposits which are much smooth and flat which provides good wetting and shallow penetration for thin sheet metal applications when using smaller diameter electrodes. With sufficient penetration for welding medium gauge steel as well, E6013 Electrodes are an all-purpose electrode that provides a soft steady arc which is easily regenerated, easy slag control for vertical-down welding, low spatter and a beautiful bead appearance. E6013 electrodes may be used in any position with AC or DC, straight or reverse polarity.
Applications
E6013 is commonly used for automobile bodies, truck frames and bodies, ornamental iron, metal furniture, farm implementations, machinery guards, storage tanks, or wherever appearance is important or desirable.
