Job Description

Ace Auto is seeking a motivated and results-driven Automotive Parts Sales Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling new and used automotive parts to retail customers, workshops, panel beaters, dealerships, and fleet operators. The ideal candidate will have strong automotive product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets. This role requires someone who can accurately identify vehicle parts, generate quotations, build long-term customer relationships, and contribute to the growth of the business. Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate. • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in automotive parts sales. • Strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and automotive components. • Experience selling new and/or used vehicle parts. • Computer literate with experience using parts catalogues and inventory systems. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment. • Strong customer service orientation. • Valid driver's license will be advantageous. • Knowledge of aftermarket and OEM parts will be beneficial. • Ability to identify vehicle parts accurately using VIN numbers, vehicle specifications, and customer descriptions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with automotive parts enquiries in person, telephonically, and via email. • Identify and source correct new and used vehicle parts. • Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders. • Achieve monthly sales targets and profitability objectives. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers. • Follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales. • Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams regarding stock availability. • Promote additional products and upsell where appropriate. • Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally. • Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation. • Monitor market trends and competitor activity. • Participate in regular stock and inventory checks when required. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Contribute to overall branch growth and customer satisfaction.
